Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensures quality and consistency in processes by assessing, modifying, and/or calibrating equipment.
- Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves issues with equipment, devices, or products; uses precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to make adjustments.
- Maintains inventory.
- Assists customers with tasks related to current equipment.
- Maintains inventories, documentation, and reports including those outlining procedures, batch records, inventory, productivity, changeover, and progress.
- Ensures compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Competencies
- Strong Mechanical and Problem-Solving Skills.
- Customer Service and Consultative Skills.
- General electrical knowledge.
- Instrumentation skills are a plus.
- TIG/MIG Welding skills are a plus.
- Plastic Welding skills are a plus.
- Metal or plastic fabrication skills are a plus.
- Strong work ethic with ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to clearly communicate with engineering, technical support, sales, and management
- Thorough understanding of products and equipment used in manufacturing.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Required Education and Experience
- Associate degree, technical certification, or postsecondary certificate in related discipline preferred.
- Previous field experience equipment is highly desired.
- Previous work history of 2 to 3 years with a service-based organization preferred.
Required License and certifications
- Must have a valid, unexpired driver's license.
- Good driving record.
