WHO WE ARE Diversified Air Systems, a local leader in the engineering and servicing of industrial compressed air systems since 1979, is seeking qualified individuals to help with our rapid growth in the service field side of our business. Our primary mission is to provide the fastest and best-compressed air service to our local customers (manufacturing companies, tool & die companies, stamping plants, etc.,)
POSITION SUMMARY
The Service Technician is responsible for providing service and support for all types of air compressors and related compressed air products. Areas of service and support include but are not limited to, air compressors, compressed air dryers, compressed air accessories, application, troubleshooting, performance evaluation, service maintenance, and proper installation. The Service Technician works directly with customers to provide solutions to various potentially complicated field issues involving mechanical and electrical failures. The successful candidate will excel in the ability to interact with customers and provide technical solutions in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Provides on-site technical support and repairs of customer equipment
- Explains system capabilities, operations, features, and benefits to the customer
- Performs preventative maintenance on air compressor products
- Inspects and services air compressors, dryers, and related equipment with a high degree of customer service
- Works safely and responsibly to avoid injuries damage to property, manage unused materials, and clean up debris
- Understands customer needs, answers questions, and recommends corrective actions that exceed customer expectations
- Completes all necessary paperwork, including work orders, service orders, customer contracts, and company forms
- Exhibits professional appearance and conduct and provides customers with excellent customer service
- Ability to build trust quickly; interacts and communicates well with customers and coworkers
- Follows all safety procedures, environmental guidelines, and company rules and regulations
- Performs other related duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

- A valid driver's license and clean driving record required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical requirements for this position are typical for a mobile employee, including constant movement within a wide range of office environments, climbing, standing, reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting 50+ pounds.
