Service Center Manager
We are seeking an experienced Service Center Manager to provide business, managerial, and technical direction to our Service Center. The ideal candidate will supervise Field Engineers and Technicians, manage workflow, and serve as the primary customer contact and liaison.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee sales, profit, and quality of area operations
- Review and sign contracts within authorized limits
- Collaborate with Region Director, Regional Sales Manager, and Marketing Services to promote new business
- Develop and review Area Profit Plan
- Lead regular management committee meetings
- Coordinate weekly invoicing and monthly status reports
- Review and audit field jobs
- Supervise, ensure safety, and provide technical training for Field Engineers and Technicians
- Conduct employee performance reviews and recommend salary changes
- Coordinate technical training and assist with career development
- Review and recommend field technical procedures
- Interview job applicants
- Develop and review proposals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, OR
- Graduate of applicable Electrical Technical School or Military equivalent
- Experience in the Industrial Service Industry
- Strong communication, supervisory, organizational, and management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and internet research
- Willingness to travel overnight for field work and company meetings
- Valid driver's license
