JOB SUMMARY:
The Service Advisor’s role is to assist in the effort to manage and maintain the efficiency, professionalism, and profitability of the service department. Also responsible for general clerical and administrative duties within the Service Department. This individual will answer incoming calls to the Service Department and direct them to the appropriate colleague, set up appointments for service customers, translate customer-reported problems into actionable work orders for technicians to complete, and consult with technicians about needed repairs and alternatives that can be offered.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a college degree is preferred.
- Experience: Must have three years of experience, and a working knowledge and experience of industry products, repairs, and parts.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Manual Dexterity: Regular repetitive use of hands, wrists, and fingers will be required. Must be able to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including the use of a computer keyboard.
- Mobility: Frequently required to sit or stand for prolonged periods. Occasionally will stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.
- Strength: May occasionally lift and/or move light to moderate amount of weight.
- Work Environment: The noise level can vary from quiet in office settings to moderate or loud in other situations, with sudden loud noises possible.
