Service Administrator - Island Pump & Tank

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM with rotating on-call schedule for weekends and nights.

Salary: $25-$27 Hourly
Location: East Northport, NY

Job Summary:
The Service Administrator at IPT is responsible for managing customer service requests, ensuring timely dispatch of technicians, and supporting ongoing service operations. This role serves as the main point of contact for customers requiring repairs and maintenance, tracking service level agreements, and assisting the service team with day-to-day operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage customer service inquiries, responding to calls and emails promptly.
• Monitor and update service level agreements and customer portals with relevant information.
• Coordinate and dispatch technicians for urgent services and emergencies.
• Provide on-call support during nights and weekends as part of a rotation system.
• Offer administrative support to technicians to facilitate efficient service delivery.

What You’ll Need:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong overall computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) for effective customer and team interactions.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
• Experience in customer service or administrative support in a service or technical environment is preferred.
• Flexibility to work in an on-call rotation during nights and weekends.
• 2-4 years of experience in the service/repair industry is preferred.
