We are partnered with a large IT Infrastructure company who is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform server break-fix in the Broomfield, CO area. In this role you will be traveling through Broomfield using your own vehicle to visit various local data centers. The Ideal candidate will have hands on experience with servers and/or strong computer break-fix skills. The successful candidate will be a problem solver who is responsive to customers' needs.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the hardware break / fix support. Experience in software support would be a plus; however, candidate should have some knowledge of windows, Linux and Solaris.
Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains products/equipment (DELL, IBM and Client Servers).
Identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders, and replaces parts as needed.
Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Experience and Skills Required:
Break Fix Skills with (Client, Dell, and IBM Servers)
Must be able to hands-on Break Fix (Discovery, Diagnose, Execute Hands On, and Confirmation that Server is back up
Must be able to swap out (Memory, Motherboards, Lasers, Fans, Arrays, etc).
Possess positive attitude and strong analytical skills
Must be a self-starter who is able to work independently without supervision and within a team environment
Must possess a professional demeanor and the ability to develop effective working relationships with end users and stakeholders
Must be a good team player
Working experience with Remote Access Cards (IBM RSA, Client iLo, Dell IDRAC)
Working experience with Client BL\DL\M\Blades\Apollo
Working experience with DELL 13G/14G servers
Working experience with IBM servers
CompTia A+ Certification is a plus
CompTia Server+ Certification is a plus
Client Certification is a plus
Dell Certification is a plus
IBM Certification is a plus

What you need to know:
- Technician will be using their own vehicle (all parking and tolls are reimbursed)
- Technician will be on an on-call rotation (paid stand-by)
- Schedule is Monday-Friday 1st shift
- Contract to Hire
- Up to $33/hr (dependent on experience)
- Our client’s largest customers are in Aurora and Broomfield but you will provide service to clients from Colorado Springs to Fort Collins as well.
