Title: Senior Tax Associate
Location: Regional opportunity in the Northeastern United States with a hybrid schedule
Description:
We are looking for a skilled Senior Tax Associate with expertise in federal and multi-state tax preparation. This role involves preparing and filing complex tax returns, compiling financial statements, and performing bookkeeping tasks. The ideal candidate will also assist with tax audits, respond to regulatory inquiries, and conduct research to stay current with tax regulations.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and file comprehensive tax returns for clients.
Compile and review financial statements and supporting documents.
Assist in federal and state tax audits.
Respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies.
Conduct tax research and remain updated on regulatory changes.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
At least 3 years of professional experience in tax preparation.
Familiarity with bookkeeping software and tools.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
Desired Skills:
CPA certification or progress toward CPA certification is a plus.
Proficiency in widely used accounting software tools.

Salary: $63k-90k per year
