OVERVIEW OF THE SENIOR TAX ASSOCIATE ROLE:

• Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax laws to provide innovative and accurate solutions.
• Assist with tax planning strategies to optimize client outcomes.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior tax staff, fostering their professional development.
• Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial data and address inquiries.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR TAX ASSOCIATE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification or progress towards completion is strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years of tax experience in public accounting.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
