Senior Tax Accountant
Location:
Worcester, MA (On-Site/Hybrid; 2-3 days in office, up to a 1-hour commute radius)
Compensation:
$80,000 - $100,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
• Assist in monthly tax accruals and journal entries to ensure accurate and timely filings.
• Conduct tax research and advise clients on tax strategies to optimize their financial position.
• Use QuickBooks to manage and review client records (QuickBooks experience is a plus but not required).
• Provide support during tax audits and liaise with tax authorities on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with clients to address tax-related inquiries and provide tailored advisory services.
• Perform general accounting functions, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in tax accounting, public accounting, or audit.
• QuickBooks experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
