We are seeking a highly motivated Permanent Tax Senior to join our Finance team. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating tax strategies to optimize the efficiency of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work with a team of professionals who are focused on providing high-quality tax services and strategic tax planning.
Responsibilities:
As a Tax Senior, you will be expected to:
1. Prepare and review complex federal and state income tax returns for Corporations, S-Corp, and C-Corp.
2. Research and provide innovative tax planning strategies.
3. Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including risk management.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting.
5. Maintain current knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
6. Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to provide excellent customer service.
7. Liaise with tax authorities and provide tax audit support.
8. Analyze financial statements and reports for tax reporting and planning.
9. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to provide exceptional customer service and to enhance the client's understanding of complex tax concepts and issues.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in tax preparation and planning, with a focus on Individuals, Partnerships and Corporations: S-Corp, and C-Corp.
3. Solid knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
4. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to handle confidential information.
9. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
