Job Description:

We are seeking a Project Lead / Senior System Engineer to provide technical leadership in integrating new systems into our Cloud infrastructure and managing end-to-end project lifecycle. The role will be pivotal in interfacing with Government customers, leading system integration efforts, and ensuring successful project completion on time and within scope. The work location will be primarily at Fairfax, VA, occasionally at Pentagon. We offer work from home options on Fridays.

Roles & Responsibilities:

•Interface with Government customers to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle

•Perform system integration, verification and validation to ensure successful integration of solutions

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems engineers, software engineers, security engineers and configuration managers

•Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring timely and in-scope completion

•Lead system engineering design review and technical assessment for systems integration; track task progress and report status to leadership

•Ensure systems meet all cybersecurity protocols and best practices, track system vulnerabilities and risk items

•Proactively mitigate risks and manage tasks across teams

•Maintain clear communication with customers and internal teams

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or relevant field, with 9+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of skills and experience

• Strong experience in customer facing, with proven success in managing relationships with external stakeholders – facilitate meetings, review IT system requirements, create and execute project plans, implement system capabilities, coordinate cybersecurity implementation

• Deep understanding of Systems Engineering process and System Lifecycle

• Experienced with Cloud technologies

• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and independently

• Must have an Interim Secret Clearance or Secret Clearance

• Must have an active Security Plus certificate

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of cloud technology, AI, Machine Learning technologies

• Experience with system and software development life cycle

• Experience with Government or Defense Contracts

• Knowledge of ticket tracking system (JIRA, etc.)

• Knowledge of financial systems or processes
