Senior Strategic Accountant at KBW Financial

A multi-billion-dollar SaaS company in Boston with a growing accounting department is searching for a Senior Strategic Accountant to sit on their Strategic Accounting Initiatives team. This position will report to the Director of Strategic Accounting. This group will not be as involved in day-to-day accounting, but instead focused on implementations and testing controls.

This position will be primarily work from home, but the team works in the office on Thursdays.

Salary for this role is up to $120k depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with key internal stakeholders to manage the execution of key business changes and system implementations.
• Assist with the integration of acquired companies or new subsidiaries.
• Assist with the documentation and maintenance of SOP’s.
• Transfer knowledge and train accounting team members who will own the new system process.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with implementations/testing
• BS Accounting
• Solid understanding of ASC 606
• NetSuite and Excel experience
