As a Senior ForgeRock Engineer, you will support Humana's Consumer (B2C & B2B) Identity & Access Management (IAM) platform, helping centralize digital identity services. You'll work with ForgeRock/Ping Identity to enhance customer experience, standardize IAM best practices, and ensure compliance with the latest security standards. This role involves guiding the team in design, development, and implementation, while mentoring junior engineers.
The Senior Software Engineer standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software. Oversees testing and debugging and develops fixes. Research complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Collaborate across teams to design, develop, and maintain IAM products.
+ Build and maintain frameworks, libraries, reusable components, and REST APIs.
+ Participate in product stand-ups, iteration planning, and retrospective meetings.
+ Shape product architecture and technology decisions.
+ Implement continuous integration, delivery, and deployment practices.
+ Create and update technical documentation.
+ Lead and mentor developers in best practices and coding standards.

Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and relevant work history in lieu of degree requirement.
+ 5+ years in software development (Java, React, JavaScript).
+ 3+ years with ForgeRock (Ping Identity) Identity Platform components.
+ Strong leadership experience mentoring software developers.
+ Deep knowledge of IAM concepts, including design and migration.
+ Experience with OAuth2.0, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile methodologies.
+ Familiarity with authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OIDC, SAML, LDAP, AD).
+ Strong communication skills for presenting demos and pitching solutions.
+ API Development, ForgeRock Identity Management, IAM, Java, .Net, JavaScript
+ Ping Identity, SDLC, Technical Leadership, Azure DevOps, Git, RESTful APIs
+ Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Work-At-Home Requirements
+ WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
+ A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
+ Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
+ A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$104,800 - $144,300 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
