Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Scheduler to manage and oversee the scheduling of complex high-rise construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of project planning, scheduling tools, and an established track record in delivering multi-million-dollar high-rise projects on time and within budget.
As the Senior Scheduler, you will play a critical role in project success by managing schedules, identifying potential risks, and coordinating with project teams to ensure timely completion of all phases of construction. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive project schedules for high-rise construction projects.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of the Master Project Schedule, including detailed timelines, resource allocation, and critical path.
- Monitor and update project schedules regularly, ensuring that all tasks are progressing according to plan.
- Work closely with project managers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to identify potential scheduling issues and recommend solutions.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely material deliveries and task completion.
- Prepare and analyze schedule reports, providing updates and forecasts to senior leadership and project teams.
- Identify potential risks to the schedule and proactively work with the team to mitigate delays.
- Develop recovery plans when necessary to bring projects back on track.
- Ensure that all schedule-related documents are properly maintained and up to date for project audits and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards across all aspects of scheduling.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of scheduling experience, with a significant focus on high-rise construction projects (residential, commercial, mixed-use, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and scheduling for high-rise buildings.
- Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and specifications.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all project stakeholders.
- Proven track record of successfully managing schedules for complex, large-scale projects.
- Ability to analyze and mitigate risks associated with project timelines.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- PMP, CCM, or other relevant certifications (preferred).
