We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Project Manager with a deep understanding and extensive experience in civil and water resources engineering, civil technology, and construction management principles. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the design and construction of Industrial Water and Wastewater infrastructure. They must be able to work effectively within a team, communicate clearly with project team members and clients, and demonstrate a high level of initiative and motivation. This role primarily involves supporting the delivery of infrastructure projects in the municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater sectors.

• Being an expert in the construction and design of water / wastewater / drainage conveyance infrastructure.

• Partnering with project directors in responding to Request for Proposals including the preparation of conceptual estimates, schedules, and other proposal documents
• Preparing detailed estimates, cost code input, and cost control systems
• Working with directors of construction and construction core personnel to establish job organization including superintendents and self-perform craftworker requirements; maintaining submittal control
• Preparing and securing owner acceptance of contract change orders
• Managing and ensuring payments to subcontractors and vendors; effectively directing project close-out tasks and any warranty work

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent plus 10 years or more of experience in Industrial Water/Wastewater facility construction, design, or management preferred
• Knowledge in the design and construction of Water/Wastewater facilities
• Research experience is a plus with excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills
• Excellent sales and customer relationship skills
• Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
• Abilities to work independently, manage time wisely and prioritize tasks
• Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
• This job will require 50%+ travel

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
