Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage all client contact throughout the implementation of a complex project.
- Track all implementation activities and artifacts.
- Lead and participate in requirement and process analysis sessions and interviews.
- Create Project schedules in alignment with required timeline and scope (per RFP) using available resources (E.g. Microsoft Project, etc.).
- Create and review project deliverables.
- Maintain project forecasts and budgets.
- Collaborate with various functional and technical teams (MAXIMUS and external partners) to ensure timeline, complete, and accurate implementations.
- Contribute to corporate repository of project standards.
- Contribute to proposal writing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of project management experience which must include leadership of at least one complex project.
- Possess exceptional organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work as a team member and independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, verbally and in writing, to all segments of the population.
- Experience managing both staff and processes, deadline-oriented work, budgets and revenue and profitability.
- Experience leading complex projects spanning multiple knowledge, technical, and functional disciplines.
- Strong computer skills, including intermediate to expert skill level of MS Office, MS Project, and SharePoint.
- Ability to travel nation-wide up to approximately 25%
- Able to manage others through influence (as opposed to having direct reports).
- Project implementation experience.
- SmartSheet and Visio experience (or similar).
- Experience with both operational and technical projects.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
