Position Overview:
- Plans, organizes and integrates cross-functional information technology projects that are significant in scope and impact.
- Lead and integrate cross-functional IT projects with significant scope and impact.
- Manage budgets, team tasks, goal setting, and team planning meetings.
- Oversee projects within the IT I&O Portfolio, ensuring design specifications and deliverables meet business unit requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively and projects stay within budget.
- Team Coordination: Manage work at the team level, establish and track goals, and coordinate team planning meetings.
- Technical Expertise: Create and read network diagrams, order and install circuits, build and maintain datacenters, and understand cable types, connectors, and CPE.
- Project Oversight: Provide oversight to projects, ensuring they meet design specifications and deliverables.
- Tool Proficiency: Utilize tools like Visio and MS Project for project planning and execution.
- Additional Projects: Complete any additional projects as assigned by the manager.
- Additional:
- Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, including budget, timeline, and resources.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths. Mitigate project risks and issues.
- Team Management: Coordinate and manage the project team and third-party contractors or consultants.
- Progress Monitoring: Track project milestones and deliverables, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
- Reporting: Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions to senior management.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all company policies and legal regulations. Maintain complete and current project documents.
