About the Job
Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Project Management, the Senior Project Manager manages large-scale projects, such as new product implementations, technology implementations, new programs and strategic initiatives to comply with regulatory mandates. You will use your health care HMO industry knowledge to lead projects from creation to implementation. The focus is to implement solutions to the benefit of our members, providers and state and county clients and improve our internal operational efficiency. In this exciting hands-on role, you will facilitate and write project and analysis documents with different teams.
SFHP proudly supports a hybrid work environment. This role will be required to be in-office, on-site a minimum of 4 days per month.
Salary: $133,000 - 154,000 annually
- Manage projects from creation to implementation. Projects will include new product/line of business implementation, IT development or infrastructure implementations, strategic initiatives, regulatory compliance efforts and other large-scale projects.
- Use experience in the managed health care industry to work with teams across the organization.
- Use project management experience, and methodologies to run successful projects through budget planning, resource management, meeting planning and facilitation, conflict resolution, risk mitigation, status reporting.
- Write project documents including charters, requirements, project plan, training, policy and procedures using adopted documentation templates.
- Work with project sponsors and business leads to reach a mutually acceptable agreement on project objective, scope, deliverables, timeframes, resources and outcomes
- Conduct and document business analysis and data analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in health care administration or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager.
- Formal project management training and actual experience managing projects.
- Expereince in project implementation, process improvement, or process redesign.
- Prior experience at a healthcare organization, particularly at a managed health plan.
- Working knowledge of common technical project management methodologies (Software Development Life Cycle, Agile).
