Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead our civil engineering projects, focusing on land development and site civil design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consulting and a proven track record in managing projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and review site civil design plans including grading, drainage, and utility layout.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to inform project development.
- Prepare and present technical reports and proposals to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and support staff in their professional development.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development and site civil design.
- Strong knowledge of engineering software and tools used in civil design.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team collaboration.
