Senior Product Manager
Our client is seeking a strategic Senior Product Manager to position the company in the marketplace, implement product and feature launches to move products forward in reaching the next level of scale, impact, and profitability. This is a highly visible position for someone who has demonstrated the ability to drive company-wide initiatives at all levels.
What You'll Be Doing:
Manage the flagship email authentication application and high performance engine
Be the product evangelist, subject matter authority, and owner of the products through the entire delivery lifecycle. Lead your cross-functional team to align on the right priorities, determine the best strategy for getting there, and be held accountable to achieving results.
Translate company strategy and goals into planned, specific, and measurable product roadmaps
Define the priorities, scope of product deliveries, and reasonable trade-offs to ensure successful product deliverables and ongoing success of the team.
Lead customer research and discovery in partnering with Product Marketing, who creates ideal Customer Profile personas, to promote the creation of new features and products
Use customer input and user behavioral insights to make data-driven decisions on product direction and priorities.
Translate customer needs into business requirements and user stories and work in an Agile environment to guide engineering to evolve the products.
Collaborate with cross functional partners on packaging, pricing, product releases, and launches to plan and ship product features that have a measurable impact for the customers.
Establish success metrics for product performance and maintain tracking mechanisms for those metrics.
Build communication flows across the organization to maintain clear and active engagement in the status of all results.
Conduct team and customer demonstrations, supporting the delivery of internal training materials that communicate to every learning style.
Understand the market and competitive products, technology direction, and customer objectives sufficiently well to build a differentiated position in the market segments targeted.
8-10 years end-to-end Product Management experience: Roadmap strategy, roadmap definition, prioritization and delivery.
Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience.
High growth startup experience is critical.
Experience crafting a product vision and strategy then translating to an agile product roadmap
Experience defining clear and well-defined goals and metrics to prioritize and reset the product strategy as needed to meet expected deliverables.
Experience leading a cross-functional product development team with engineers and designers that are focused on discovering effective solutions, then working together to deliver those solutions to market.
Demonstrated experience with design thinking practices such as persona development, customer experience/journey mapping, story mapping, design sprints, rapid prototyping, customer interviews, etc.
Excellent communicator with experience collaborating with customers, peers, colleagues, and executives. You succinctly, clearly, and convincingly articulate initiatives, goals, priorities and progress in written, verbal, and presentation formats.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead by influence.
