Title: Senior Product Designer
Location: Remote or Regional (Southwestern United States)
Description:
The Senior Product Designer plays a critical role in creating intuitive, engaging, and user-centered designs for innovative software solutions. This position requires a hands-on approach in developing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that align with product goals and enhance user experiences. Working closely with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, the designer will ensure seamless integration of design within the development lifecycle. This role also involves mentoring junior designers, contributing to design standards, and staying current with industry trends to drive innovation.
Responsibilities:
Design Execution: Create and implement user-centered design solutions, including wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between design and product functionality.
User Research: Conduct usability testing and user research to validate designs and refine solutions based on insights.
Design Standards: Maintain and contribute to design guidelines to ensure consistent and high-quality interfaces.
Project Management: Manage multiple design projects, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery.
Mentorship: Guide and support junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Advocacy: Promote the importance of user experience throughout the product development process.
Required Skills:
5–7 years of experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Hands-on experience with creating interactive prototypes.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate design concepts effectively.
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful designs.
Expertise in user research and usability testing, including actionable improvements based on insights.
Desired Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
Demonstrated adaptability to emerging design tools and trends.
Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
Experience designing for web, mobile (iOS and Android), and desktop applications.

Compensation:
Pay range: $145K - $175K/yr.
