What You'll Do:
- **Optimize Production**: Create and maintain production, work, and shipment schedules. Prioritize job orders to ensure seamless production flow.
- **Expedite Processes**: Collaborate with various teams to expedite materials and documents, ensuring customer expectations are met.
- **Analyze and Report**: Complete status reports and data analysis to evaluate production progress and inventory levels.
- **Daily Interaction**: Work closely with shop floor management to resolve manufacturing issues and provide vital information.
- **Drive Improvements**: Suggest and implement improvements in areas like cost reduction, process efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- **Meet Objectives**: Develop and achieve departmental and company goals, ensuring progress and problem-solving in collaboration with supervisors.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and Microsoft Office products, especially advanced MS Excel skills.
- Minimum 3-5 years of previous planning experience is a plus.
- Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding ability to manage projects, meet multiple deadlines, and maintain a high sense of urgency.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities for future career growth.
- Comprehensive understanding of supply chain concepts.
