Direct hire opportunity for a Senior Mechnical Engineer.
Seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 15 to 20+ years of experience to provide expertise in mechanical design and technical oversight of mechanical and electromechanical machines, as well as large manufacturing plant systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing guidance and leadership in all aspects of mechanical engineering, including fluid flows, heat transfer, mechanics, strength of materials, and electro-mechanical systems. This role requires a proactive individual who can hit the ground running and drive innovation and efficiency in our engineering processes.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and guidance in mechanical engineering design and development projects.
- Oversee the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical and electromechanical systems to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
- Conduct thorough analysis of fluid flows, heat transfer, mechanics, and strength of materials to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Manage and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reliability, and safety of mechanical systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 15 to 20+ years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on mechanical design and system integration.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks 3D CAD, AutoCAD 2D software, Excel, and Word.
- Extensive experience with presses, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electric motor driven systems.
- Full knowledge of fluid flows, heat transfer, mechanics, and strength of materials.
- Proven track record of delivering successful engineering solutions in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
