Role: Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Plymouth, MN 55442

Position Summary:

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures to support daily production schedules. This role will drive productivity improvements, enhance product quality, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Essential Functions:

• Lead projects focused on the introduction of new production equipment, process improvements, and cost reduction initiatives, while supporting new product launches.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers and technicians.
• Conduct Process FMEAs (Failure Mode Effects Analysis) and Process Validations to ensure process reliability and quality.
• Apply Lean manufacturing principles to improve product quality, labor efficiency, and throughput.
• Oversee the design, procurement, construction, and troubleshooting of tooling, machinery, and test equipment.
• Collaborate closely with Product Development teams to ensure products are designed for manufacturability.

Other Duties:

• Support divisional initiatives as directed by management.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other relevant regulatory standards.
