Overview:
A well-known company in the semiconductor manufacturing space is seeking to hire a Senior Manager/Director to join their Silicon IP Sales team in San Jose, California. The focus of this sales role is to develop and grow the Interface IP and Security business, with focus on strategic customer relationships and opportunities. Key responsibilities will include achieving assigned sales targets by developing and maintaining customer accounts. This is an individual contributor position with a high level of growth and impact.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business growth plans at key strategic accounts
- Accountable to deliver Revenue, Gross Margin, and Design Win Revenue goals??
- Forecasting long term demand and near-term revenue??
- Responsible for assessing current opportunities, resources, and capabilities needed to meet or exceed sales plan??
- Responsible for developing and executing innovative sales approaches to drive revenue and profitability growth??
- Maintain and grow the existing customer base while increasing the company’s focus on pursuing and investing in new high-value accounts??
- Work with the internal Interface IP and Security BU marketing teams to develop account strategies based on market analysis and customer segmentation??
- Build processes to understand customer current/future requirements, detecting market trends among and align with product development, manufacturing capabilities, and investment strategy??
- Work closely with the Business Units to successfully introduce new products on critical launch calendars
- Develop and build senior-level relationships internal and external to major accounts and targets?
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience selling IP solutions or other semiconductor applications
- 5+ years of hands on experience in semiconductor sales, customer engagement, or field marketing
- Knowledge of SerDes, memory, security IP and services
- EDA/integrated circuit design service experience is a plus
- Experience in detailed forecast and sales opportunity funnel
- Must be goal and target oriented with a proven track record in customer development and customer satisfaction
- Strong semiconductor industry network, with ability to gain traction for strategic engagements
- Strong project management, presentation, and negotiating skills??
- Familiar with salesforce.com and other sales tools
- BSEE / MSEE (preferred)
Salary Range: $150,000-220,000 (DOE)
Location: San Jose, CA (onsite Mon-Fri)
