ASI is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to work in Norfolk, VA. supporting the Commander, Naval Air Force Atlantic (CNAL) Military Operations Center (MOC) Norfolk VA. This position is not eligible for remote work.
Responsibilities:
- Defines problems, analyzes, and develops strategies to achieve assigned objectives
- Integrates and prepares large, varied datasets for analysis. Identifies and assesses data attributes using statistical software packages to develop recommendations and analytical processes based on mission requirements
- Evaluates existing business goals, team functionality, and cross-discipline cooperation and develops recommendations to improve internal performance, shorten throughput time, and minimize internal costs, while increasing the overall quality of work, product, or service output
- Implements improved systems, procedures, and organizational changes. Employs analysis techniques such as work breakdown structures, activity-based costing, process and productivity improvement measurements, program audits/evaluations, and performance testing to achieve stated objectives
- Researches, develops, implements, and utilizes statistical methods and strategies to address tactical and strategic problem sets, while working with a technical team
- Provides highly technical expertise in developing reports
- Conducts statistical and predictive analysis
- Collaborates with multiple teams and clients to understand and recommend activities related to analytics
- Analyzes and creates data sets
- Identifies Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and maintenance policy options and conducts cost/benefit trade-off analysis of policy options
Required Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of operational experience (Fleet experience) in the full spectrum of industrial and logistics maintenance planning and sustainment
- At least 4 years of integrated logistics support across the spectrum of ILS elements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Additional four years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for degree
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a diverse team of government and contractor personnel
- Experience with Naval Aviation databases, including OOMA and DECKPLATE, Continuous Monitoring Program (CMP), Aviation Management Supply and Readiness Reporting (AMSRR)
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products to include Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Tableau or other data visualization tools
- Development and maintenance of SharePoint sites
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Secret Clearance
