About the Job
A top Boston law firm is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal. This individual will report directly to the Litigation Department Chair and supervises two junior paralegals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develops and maintains a system to organize client files and documents in paper and electronic formats.
· Completes legal research in law library
· Completes reviews of certain legal documents and the filing of documents
· Participates in client meetings, telephone calls/conferences, and prepares written communications
· Prepares client or firm documents as directed by an attorney to draft and/or edit.
· Maintains document databases using document review software
· Helps facilitate training sessions for attorneys on effectively utilizing paralegal support
· Supervises, trains, and mentors junior paralegals
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· 8-10 years of experience working as a litigation paralegal for a law firm required.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools and database management/administration systems.
· Experience with performing document reviews and providing case management
· Excellent grammar, spelling and proofing for content and context.
· Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong communication skills
