Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Supervising Electrical Engineer, you will take on a leadership role in engineering design and project execution.MEP engineering and consulting, specializes in diverse fields including information and communication technology, architectural lighting, vertical transportation, and commissioning services
Key responsibilities include:
- Project Leadership: Act as lead engineer on designated projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and technical standards.
- Staff Management: Supervise and mentor team members, conduct performance evaluations, and coordinate assignments.
- Technical Oversight: Set and review design standards, specifications, and criteria across various projects.
- Construction Administration: Oversee project documentation, including field reports, responses to RFIs, and updates to design documentation.
- Project Coordination: Work with accounting on invoicing, monitor project financials, and engage with clients as needed to ensure timely execution.
- Team Communication: Oversee and facilitate communication across project teams, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Proposal and Contract Administration: Prepare and manage project proposals and contracts, including service agreements.
- Strategic Contributions: Participate in company-wide initiatives to enhance engineering practices and promote industry standards.
Successful candidates will have:
- Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Experience: 12+ years in the MEP industry, ideally with experience in healthcare, critical facilities, commercial, or aviation projects.
- Leadership Skills: Proven supervisory experience, with a strong ability to manage and mentor teams.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in design and calculation software, including CAD and Revit.
- Additional Skills: Advanced knowledge in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat, with a solid understanding of construction documentation and lifecycle costing.
