Job Description
NAOVI is seeking a Senior Knowledge Manager/SharePoint Developer to support the government client for the following task:
Primary responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, update, and maintain KM systems (e.g., SharePoint sites, databases, and internal websites) that can serve as repositories for storing, sharing, and utilizing data.
- Assist the Government by advising them how best to utilize KM tools.
- The KM systems will enhance information sharing of analysis, assessments, legislative materials, policies, strategies, budget materials, IT information, and other relevant documents.
- Train system users, which may include IC partners, provide user guides as needed.
- Ability to integrate information with other databases, as required. When possible, the candidate shall utilize automated tools and visualizations to facilitate users’ access and ability to analyze information holdings.
- Ability to employ specific tools for unique office needs, as required, which may include interoperability with or ability to share information with other IC or state and local partners.
- Must create and maintain virtual communities of interest to enable the agency and its partners to collaborate, store, search, and discover information; share lessons learned and best practices; and report and track metrics to assess progress against various programs, policies, and strategies.
- Ability to develop simulations and exercises to test database readiness and communication channels.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve exchanges of information across systems as well as the Government and private sectors.
- Able to maintain and update an agency-wide repository for instructions, Internal
- Process Documents (IPDs), and policy memorandum.
Education and Experience: Required
- All candidates MUST possess an Active TSSCI w/CI polygraph. Required
- All candidates must have a BS degree with 7+ years or a MS with 10+ years of experience. Required
- Build data repositories for a variety of mission needs that easily and automatically generate a variety of visualizations to support analysis, reporting, and briefings.
