Position Summary
Under minimal supervision, performs the most complex warehouse, inventory and material control duties to ensure efficient and effective operations. Trains less experienced co-workers as directed. May perform lead duties in absence of the supervisor.
- The successful candidate will work from the home office in Erie, PA.
Duties and Responsibilities
- May perform duties related to one or more of the following in compliance with the material control safety manual and OSHA regulations for operation of warehouse and powered industrial equipment:
- Inventory/Warehouse Control Performs scheduled physical inventory of all forms, office equipment/furniture and miscellaneous supplies as assigned. Maintains an adequate inventory supply. Maintains records of daily warehouse activity and produces year-end reports as required. Maintains and adheres to records retention standards and disposal process. Inspects material handling equipment and completes safety reports.
- Shipping/Receiving Performs receiving dock functions, including loading trucks, collecting items and delivering items to end destination. Performs daily commercial truck driving duties, complying with all related safety rules and regulations. Completes logbooks as required by law. Responsible for the secure packaging, tracking and shipping of high-priority items.
- Systems Tracking Leads the upgrade and troubleshooting of inventory control systems and software as required. Inputs incoming and outgoing transactions, item maintenance, reorder points and reorder quantities into the inventory system. Maintains electronic tracking and hard copy documents for all items shipped. Verifies and communicates the quality and accuracy of the warehouse function, including the development and distribution of related reports.

Qualifications
Minimum Educational Requirements
- High school diploma, or GED, required.
Additional Experience
- Four year of experience in inventory control/warehouse operations, or related experience, required.
- Safety training in operating manual and industrial powered material handling equipment preferred.
- Completion of various company development classes preferred.
- Previous safety training on operation of industrial powered material handling equipment preferred.
Designations and/or Licenses
- For those required to perform daily truck driving duties: Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Classification "B" with air brakes and good driving record required.
