Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented IT Project Administrator to support a large-scale integration program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing issues and risks, ensuring that they are effectively managed and resolved on time and in alignment with program schedule. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of deliverables, ensuring adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
- Issue and Risk Management: Identify, document, and track project issues and risks. Develop mitigation strategies and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and issue/risk logs.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and management. Provide regular updates on project status, issues, and risks.
- Meeting Facilitation: Organize and lead project meetings, ensuring that agendas are set, minutes are recorded, and action items are tracked.
- Resource Management: Assist in the allocation and management of project resources, ensuring that team members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and align with project objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for project management and infrastructure processes.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in project administration or coordination, preferably in IT infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with IT infrastructure technologies and concepts (e.g., networking, servers, cloud computing).
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks and tools.
