About the Job
The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for leading teams to successfully deliver projects from inception to completion. This position requires deep understanding project management methodologies, strong leadership skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering custom software development, software package implementation and IT infrastructure projects. The Senior IT Project Manager will develop an understanding of interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs and partner with other senior leaders to ensure projects produce the desired outcomes within the agreed upon constraints of quality, time, and cost.
The Senior IT Project Manager may also manage and supervise other project managers. This may include assisting in recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching and counseling employees. It may also include communicating job expectations, mentoring, appraising, and reviewing job performance. Other activities could include planning and reviewing compensation actions and enforcing policies and procedures.
As a member of the project management community at GoTo Foods, it is expected that the Senior IT Project Manager will participate in establishing standard practices, templates, policies, and tools to facilitate project success.
Education
Bachelor's Degree Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred Pref
Work Experience
Project Management experience Experience in an IT environment Experience in systems development life cycle Experience managing processes and systems implementation projects with a formalized methodology
Skills and Abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office technologies, including Office Suite, Project, Visio, and SharePoint Strong facilitation, leadership, and team management skills.
