Overture Partners' client has an immediate need for a Senior IT Project Manager. To secure an interview for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Must Haves:
- Minimum 10+ years of IT experience
- Experience with delivering AI Projects Desirable
- 8+ years of experience in a project manager role, managing projects from conceptualization through delivery on time and on budget with full accountability and financial responsibility.
- 5+ years of extensive hands-on experience managing large scale enterprise-wide IT projects
- 3+ years of experience managing enterprise-wide Access and Identity Management projects
- Experience with and preparing project documentation such as detailed requirements, status reports, etc.
- Proficiency with JIRA or similar project management tools.
- Advanced level of proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook, SharePoint and Power Point.
What the Client Needs you to Do:
- Work with IT and business stakeholders to develop effective plans with tasks, detailed milestones and activities.
- Report status and risks on a weekly basis to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with agency business leaders to develop and maintain ongoing release schedules.
- Define project objectives and strategize with key business stakeholders.
- Deliver results against established timelines, deliverables, tasks, dependencies, and associated technical specifications.
- Collaborate with other Project Managers in developing detailed plans, work breakdown structures, project checklists and budgets to meet established time frames, funding, and staffing availability.
- Prepare and execute comprehensive supporting plans in the areas of quality control, risk management, change management, testing, and other associated project management areas.
- Manage overall process to include monitoring project scope and change control processes.
- Perform work in keeping with industry recognized standards, guidelines, and practices.
- Prepare remediation plans and communicate with external stakeholders and internal partners to resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain detailed reports that effectively monitor the status of the project
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar accreditation highly desirable
