About the Job
The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) will play a pivotal role in advancing organizational success by aligning strategic human resources initiatives with business objectives in a high-growth environment. Acting as a trusted advisor, the HRBP will partner with business leaders to drive talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement while also leading cross-functional programs that impact the broader HR team. In this role, you will partner closely with the global software and engineering group and other key stakeholders to drive HR strategies that support business objectives, enhance organizational effectiveness, and foster employee engagement. Success demands a versatile skill set, including strategic vision, tactical execution, and a collaborative approach to engage effectively across teams, leadership levels, and complex situations.
This position is based at our Global Headquarters based in Plano, Texas and requires on-site presence Monday-Friday. Hybrid eligible after 90 days.
Strategic HR Partnership:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business objectives and develop HR strategies that support organizational goals.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters, including organizational design, workforce planning, and talent development.
- Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Partner with the talent acquisition team to ensure the recruitment and selection process identifies and secures top talent.
- Develop and implement retention strategies to foster a high-performing and engaged workforce.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for complex employee relations issues, providing coaching and guidance to leaders and employees.
- Conduct thorough investigations and recommend appropriate actions to ensure a fair and respectful work environment.
Performance Management:
- Work with managers to establish and maintain effective performance management processes, including goal-setting, feedback, and development planning.
- Provide guidance on performance improvement plans and performance-related issues.
Learning and Development:
- Identify training needs and facilitate the implementation of programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Perform salary analysis and consult with compensation software to ensure a competitive and equitable compensation practices.
- Provide insights and recommendations on benefits offerings to attract and retain top talent.
Compliance and Policy Implementation:
- Stay updated on HR laws and regulations and ensure company compliance.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with legal requirements and company values.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 7 years as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager preferably supporting international engineering teams and/or global technology organizations.. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certifications are preferred.
- Expertise in HR functions including HR strategy, training and development, compensation, org design, Total Rewards, talent acquisition, change management and employee relations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experienced with HRIS programs, particularly ADP Workforce Now and/or Celergo.
- Advanced knowledge of business management and strategic workforce planning. Comprehensive understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Expertise in coaching and developing middle managers to enhance leadership effectiveness and drive team performance.
- Proven experience providing strategic advice and guidance to VP-level and C-suite leaders, fostering effective decision-making and aligning leadership initiatives with organizational goals.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage deadlines, and handle investigations and employee relations issues effectively. Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Global HR experience (EMEA, APAC and Americas) a plus.
