In this crucial role, you'll be a trusted advisor guiding hospitals, software companies, pharma, and biotech firms through their data and technology transformations, as well as a data enthusiast unlocking insights and opportunities that elevate patient care and organizational efficiency. You'll be a bridge between business, clinical, and scientific needs and data-driven possibilities, shaping effective solutions that unlock our customers' full potential.

Expectations
- Unveil hidden potential: Conduct in-depth analyses of client use cases, data, and workflows, identifying key areas for improvement through data-driven strategies and technology integration.
- Craft solutions with purpose: Design high-level solutions that leverage data insights and appropriate technologies to address specific challenges.
- Bridge the gap with clarity: Effectively communicate complex data insights and technology concepts to diverse audiences, fostering understanding and buy-in across all levels.
- Collaborate for success: Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing support of tailored solutions.
- Navigate the tech landscape: Stay informed about the latest industry technology advancements, from data analytics tools to emerging AI applications, recommending and evaluating their potential for client solutions.
- Build trust and influence: Develop strong relationships with clients, establishing yourself as a reliable advisor and championing their data-driven transformation journey.
- Customer facing: You will interact with customers on a regular basis, sometimes daily, other times weekly/bi-weekly. Common touchpoints occur when qualifying potential opportunities, at project kickoff, throughout the engagement as progress is communicated, and at project close. You can expect to interact with a range of customer stakeholders, including engineers, technical project managers, and executives.
- Onboarding/training: The first several weeks of onboarding are dedicated to learning and will encompass learning materials/assignments and compliance training, as well as meetings with relevant individuals. Details of the timeline are shared closer to the start date.
- Required Travel: Up to 15% travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events.
Job Requirements
Required Credentials:
- 8+ years of experience in analysis and delivery of data-driven solutions in the healthcare and/or life sciences industries.
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., biomedical informatics, healthcare administration, business analytics, computer science).
Required Qualifications:
- Proven track record of successfully designing and leading implementation of data-driven solutions that deliver tangible value to the HCLS industry.
- Strong understanding of industry personas, terminology, workflows, and challenges
- Solid understanding of how data engineering, machine learning, and AI projects can be applied to solve industry problems.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to tailor your message to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to build trust and influence at all levels, collaborating effectively with clients and internal teams.
Useful Qualifications:
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, especially its HCLS-specific products, such as Healthcare Data Engine and Healthcare API.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure, especially their HCLS-specific products.
- Experience with use cases tied to common industry data sources and applications, such as EMRs and lab systems.
- Technical understanding of common industry data types, such as HL7, FHIR, DICOM, ICD, UML, etc.
