We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. HVAC Design Engineer to lead the design and implementation of innovative HVAC systems for various projects. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of HVAC systems for commercial and industrial projects.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for creating detailed HVAC design drawings and specifications.
- Conduct load calculations and perform psychrometric analysis to ensure system efficiency.
- Select appropriate HVAC equipment including chillers, boilers, and air handlers based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate HVAC designs seamlessly into overall project plans.
- Review and approve shop drawings and submittals from contractors to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Perform site visits and inspections to assess system installations and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC design engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, psychrometrics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer principles.
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes related to HVAC design and installation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
