We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is critical to the success of our organization, as it involves strategic analysis and financial planning to support our business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive financial perspective, driving financial transparency, and delivering measurable results. Responsibilities
As a Senior Financial Planning Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting detailed financial analysis and developing comprehensive financial models to support decision making.
2. Participating in budgeting, forecasting, and various financial planning processes.
3. Presenting financial results and forecasts to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and identify financial implications.
5. Evaluating financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
6. Providing financial advice and guidance to various departments within the organization.
7. Identifying and driving process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
8. Monitoring and analyzing manufacturing costs, identifying cost reduction opportunities.
9. Ensuring compliance with financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Qualifications
To qualify for the role of Senior Financial Planning Analyst, you must possess the following:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certifications (such as CFA, CPA) would be an advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
3. Strong proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
4. Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
5. Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
6. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
8. Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
9. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects.
10. Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
11. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
