About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) to join our Revenue FP&A team at a leading technology company. In this role, you will play a crucial part in analyzing customer and product usage within our dynamic, high-growth business environment. Your responsibilities will involve creating, maintaining, and reporting on key business metrics, as well as developing customized analytics to guide investment strategies and optimize revenue and profitability. Collaboration with various stakeholders will be essential to understand complex data in our usage-based business model and communicate insights effectively using diverse skill sets.
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will:
Take ownership of revenue pacing by deeply understanding core revenue drivers and translating insights into actionable strategies.
Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support strategic decision-making at the leadership level in finance.
Identify opportunities through comprehensive analyses and present strategic recommendations to senior management.
Manage multiple projects and priorities from stakeholders across the organization.
Develop scalable solutions and self-service platforms to provide critical data and KPIs for informed business decisions.
Establish trusted relationships and streamlined processes with finance teams to address data-intensive requests effectively.
Implement new processes for automating and scaling complex reporting requirements.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
5+ years of progressive experience in Software, SaaS, Banking, Consulting, or Corporate Finance, ideally within a fast-growing technology enterprise.
Experience building complex financial models from scratch and deriving actionable insights.
Proficiency in preparing and presenting financial plans and analyses to senior leadership.
Strong analytical skills with expertise in data manipulation using tools like Tableau, SQL, and Python (or similar).
Curiosity and capability to understand the drivers of a complex business environment.
Track record of managing and prioritizing multiple projects effectively.
Location
This position is remote but excludes eligibility in specific California locations including San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose.
