Job Summary:
The Senior Executive Assistant III will provide support to the Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO), Disney Entertainment & ESPN. The responsibilities of the Executive Assistant include, but is not limited to, managing the CPTO’s time with calendaring and scheduling, managing travel arrangements, handling complex communications, and developing and distributing meeting materials. The ideal candidate is someone that is highly organized, proactive, and adaptable with exceptional communication skills.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
+ Manage executive’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
+ Draft correspondence, manage incoming/outgoing mail, and prioritize incoming communications
+ Manage and prepare documents including meeting agendas, presentation materials, and minutes and action items from meetings
+ Coordinate logistics for meetings, including room bookings, catering, and A/V setup
+ Maintain files, coordinate pickup and delivery of materials as requested including scheduling courier and overnight services
+ Coordinate with facilities management for office space and maintenance needs
+ Liaising with executives and other assistants both internally and externally
+ Consistently maintain standards of strict confidentiality with respects to all matters and documents
+ Support and collaborate on research projects and department projects as requested
+ Must be in office 4 days a week at Team Disney, Burbank, CA
Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
Basic Qualifications
+ 7+ years of relevant experience
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Detail-oriented and highly organized with an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
+ Proven ability to work with confidential information while maintaining a high level of professionalism across all interactions
+ Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement and decision making
+ Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
+ Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to handle various personalities, responsibilities, and assignments
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience with:
+ Microsoft office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
+ Administrative functions and processes
Required Education
+ High school diploma
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $94,200 to $126,200 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
