Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician / Production Technician III - Fusion Optix

About the Job
- Reporting to Production Supervisor, highest technician grade within the assembly cell.
- Assemble custom LED light fixtures using LED modules, wire harnesses, power suppliers, optics, and other various components.
- Work with production supervisor, junior assembly technicians and quality functions to ensure all work orders, specifications, and drawings are accurate before beginning production.
- Quality control and final test of assembled fixtures to ensure quality and reliability standards.
- Contribute to assembly cell LEAN and continuous improvement programs.
- Support quality control procedures during production by utilizing test and measurement equipment (training provided).
- Work with other technicians and managers to reduce waste and apply sustainable best practice.
- Help out generally as part of the team, especially when production deadlines are tight.
- Reliable, ethical, team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Some level of education or work experience relevant to electro-mechanical and/or LED lighting products.
- Prior hands-on experience assembling electronic and mechanical modules in a manufacturing setting.
- Mechanically minded, practical, able to operate mechanical and electrical hand tools.
- Able to read assembly drawings and execute tasks from written instructions with little supervision
- Good attention to detail and good numeracy ability.
- Appreciation and regard for safety policies and procedures.
