Senior Electrician

Summary:

The Senior Electrician will be responsible for overseeing and executing complex electrical maintenance and repair tasks within a manufacturing facility. This role will involve troubleshooting electrical systems, performing installations, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment, including motors, control panels, and wiring.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair complex electrical malfunctions, identifying and resolving root causes.
• Installation: Install new electrical equipment and systems, ensuring adherence to electrical codes and standards.
• Project Management: Lead and manage electrical projects, coordinating with other team members and ensuring timely completion.
• Mentorship: Mentor and train junior electricians, sharing knowledge and expertise.
• Safety: Prioritize safety by following electrical safety protocols and using appropriate safety equipment.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes and regulations, including NEC and OSHA.

Qualifications:

• Journeyman or Preferably Master's Electrician's License
• Proven experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.
• Exposure to noise, vibration, and hazardous materials.
