Expected salary range of $74,700 to $83,000 ($35.91 &ndash $39.90 per hour), varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes commission and 401(k).
LOCATION
This role is base in our Nashville, TN plant. Working hours for the role are Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM EST.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Lead all aspects of electrical installations, routine inspections, troubleshooting/repairs, and planned maintenance outages on equipment within the generating facility and in the distribution system of the Metro Nashville District Energy System.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Perform electrical maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting tasks within the generating facility or distribution system. (60%)
- Lead electrical subcontractors in required projects including quote solicitation and project closeout documentation. (15%)
- Act as the electrical subject matter expert and liaison between the Constellation General/Operations managers and third-party contract administrator. (15%)
- Create documentation and reports regarding electrical usage and electrical events involving chilled water and steam systems. (10%)
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent experience.
- (4) Years of experience with electrical Distribution installation, maintenance, or testing (Ex. 480V SWGR, MCC, VFD, XFMR)
- Solid understanding of mechanical/electrical plant components. (Pumps, motors, boilers, chillers, metering devices)
- Ability to read and communicate information from electrical drawings (Plant One line, Engineering Projects)
- Strong organizational skills including reporting. Email, Microsoft Office Skills required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong history of leading electrical maintenance in an environment with equipment ranging up to13.8kV
- Experience with ARC Flash Studies, including NFPA70B & NFPA70E
- Experience as a maintenance electrician in a plant or manufacturing environment.
- Boiler, Chiller, HVAC experience.
