We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will provide an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from planning and design to implementation and maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality electrical designs and solutions and overseeing projects. This is a permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.
2. Design and develop complex electrical systems and circuits.
3. Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical equipment.
4. Ensure all designs and installations comply with industry safety standards and regulations.
5. Perform detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
6. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project success.
7. Conduct research and analysis to solve complex electrical engineering problems.
8. Mentor and guide junior engineers, helping to enhance their skill sets.
9. Prepare and present technical reports and project updates to stakeholders.
10. Stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in the field of electrical engineering.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically in lighting and electrical design.
3. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
4. Proficient in electrical engineering software.
5. Comprehensive understanding of electrical manufacturing processes and systems.
6. A working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or BIM System(s), specifically REVIT MEP is preferred
7. In depth knowledge of grounding and lightning protection systems..
8. Strong leadership and project management skills.
9. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
10. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
11. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
13. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
