Key Objectives and Responsibilities
1. Will provide supply chain leadership and serve as a CSS Supply Chain voice in the business unit LT with accountability for building a coordinated strategy while having oversight over all functions including Planning, Product Management, Internal and External Manufacturing, Engineering
2. Will be accountable for the metrics and KPI's, with focus on Reliability, Innovation, Profitability and Cashflow metrics. Set Performance Targets for both Internal and (aligned with) External Manufacturing Ops to meet GOC & Enterprise goals
3. Establish processes to run and balance the Supply Chain Portfolio of projects supporting all areas of performance improvement including, Reliability, Capacity, NPI, Profitability, Compliance and SC Digitalization.
4. Develop and Implement Network Optimization strategy to rationalize the facility footprint, get leverage on technology, and significantly improve efficiencies. Develop and communicate an ongoing Neurovascular Strategy that aligns with partners and the enterprise objectives.
5. Engage the workforce with a clear and compelling vision with emphasis on a "one global team" that' passionate about the customer.
6. Responsible to balance and drive continuous improvement in Cost, Customer Service & Product Quality. Ensure minimal compliance risk.
7. Responsible for managing capital investments to support Growth and deliver Capital efficiency.
8. Drive continuous cost improvement in Gross Profit and COGS aligned to Business Strategic Plan.
9. Understanding and aligning the strategic vision for the business and communication/deployment of Supply Chain Strategies to enable business growth.
10. Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
11. Will drive strong collaboration with the R&D team to ensure successful product launches while driving Design-to-Value programs to contribute to improved GP Required
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, sciences or supply chain fields
• 10 years in general management/people management roles with across multiple business units or sectors
• 15 years of leading large, multi-site, global organizations, with end-to-end supply chain experience
• Operations proficiencies inclusive of product innovation, planning, customer & logistics services, and manufacturing
• Experience with the global demands of the role specifically: multi-cultural / multi country locations and applicable local labor law, healthcare regulatory requirements, tax law, and logistics
• Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%
Preferred
• Graduate degree in science, business, engineering, finance or organizational management
• Direct experience in multiple Medical Devices and Diagnostics companies
• Strong understanding of the new product introduction process
• Understanding of financial processes such as P&L calculation and COGS
• Exposure to a global environment in previous roles leading supply chain
• Green Belt Certification, Black Belt / Master Black Belt Certification
• Direct partnership experience with Commercial Trauma, R&D, Executive Leadership and Make teams
• External manufacturing supplier management
