About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Cost Accountant with extensive manufacturing experience to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on planning, key performance indicator (KPI) development, general accounting, and balance sheet management. You’ll work closely with executive management and site teams to align financial strategies with organizational goals while maintaining compliance with regulations and internal policies. This role offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact in a fast-paced, innovative manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Financial Strategy: Develop and execute financial plans, budgets, and KPIs to align with business goals and provide actionable insights to executive teams.
- Lead Accounting Excellence: Oversee financial policies, process improvements, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Manage Inventory Oversight: Ensure accurate inventory reporting, analyze trends, and document intercompany transactions.
- Optimize Accounts Receivable: Streamline cash management, aging reports, and compliance while identifying efficiencies.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Support finance, accounting, and operational teams to achieve seamless integration and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, manufacturing or cost experience is highly preferred.
- Proficient in Excel with the ability to create complex financial reports.
- Solid understanding of GAAP, accounting theory, and practices.
- Proven experience in project or process management with limited oversight.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset to build internal and external relationships.
- Ability to meet daily and monthly deadlines.
