The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for our manufacturing processes. This role requires a deep understanding of automation and control technologies to enhance operational efficiency and ensure system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems for manufacturing processes using PLCs and HMIs.
- Create and optimize ladder logic diagrams to improve system performance.
- Develop and review electrical schematics and control panel layouts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to controls and automation systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project requirements and timelines.
- Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in controls engineering or a similar role preferred.
- Proficiency in PLC programming and HMI development.
- Strong understanding of ladder logic and electrical schematics.
- Experience with control panel design and integration.
- Ability to travel to customer sites (up to 25% travel).
