Job Summary
As our Senior Compliance Analyst at Homeowners of America ("HOA," a Porch Company), you will hold a pivotal role in shaping and maturing our insurance regulatory compliance program. We are seeking an ideal candidate with experience in property and casualty insurance, focusing on regulatory compliance. This position requires proficiency in various compliance areas including regulatory relationship management, interpretation of laws, policy development, and risk mitigation strategies.
You will report directly to the senior-most attorney at HOA, the Director & Senior Counsel, Insurance & Regulatory. Additionally, you will have opportunities to engage with the broader Porch Group Corporate legal team, including the General Counsel, Porch Group, as needed
What You Will Do As A Senior Compliance Analyst, Homeowners of America Insurance
- Serve as a subject matter expert for all regulatory compliance issues.
- Function as a strategic business partner and advisor to various business units, helping them interpret complex compliance requirements and develop action plans for implementation.
- Manage and direct all external regulatory interactions, including requests for information, data calls, inquiries, surveys, market conduct exams, and financial exams.
- Oversee and ensure the timely submission of all regulatory filings and responses.
- Develop and implement a formal P&C insurance compliance program that aligns with industry standards. This includes:
- Establishing written policies and procedures for managing compliance requests, complaints, and filings.
- Developing a system to ensure timely implementation of compliance requirements.
- Developing a system to ensure ongoing regulatory and licensing compliance.
- Assess risks and identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability. Collaborate with business leadership and legal counsel to resolve potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Provide support for business projects as needed, including new product development and company-wide initiatives to ensure compliance with relevant laws.
What You Will Bring as Senior Compliance Manager, Homeowners of America Insurance (HOA)
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8+ years property and casualty insurance compliance experience.
- Extensive experience researching and interpreting insurance laws and regulations.
- Extensive experience effectively interacting, negotiating, and developing relationships with insurance regulators.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing compliance initiatives and programs.
- Demonstrated ability to express ideas and guidance clearly and concisely, both written and verbally.
- Excellent attention to detail, good organizational skills, critical thinking, and the ability to demonstrate thorough, accurate and timely submission of all regulatory requests and filings.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining rapport and collaboration with colleagues, internal and external stakeholders, with demonstrated ability to contribute to team effort.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, balancing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Adaptability and the agility to respond to changing demands and priorities.
- Willingness to travel 25%, primarily to our Dallas, TX area office which is HOA's home office or Porch Corporate Headquarters base in Seattle. WA.

What You Will Get As A Porch Group Team Member
Pay Range*: $106,500- $149,100 Annually
*Please know your actual pay at Porch will reflect a number of factors among which are your work experience and skillsets,job-related knowledge, alignment with market and our Porch employees, as well as your geographic location.*
Additionally, you will be eligible to receive long-term incentive awards, subject to program guidelines and approvals.
