Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Install and terminate various low-voltage cabling systems, including Cat6 cables, coax, video/audio wires, cameras, and fiber optics.
- Perform cable testing and troubleshooting to ensure system integrity and functionality.
- Safely operate hand tools and equipment, such as drills and testers, to complete installation tasks.
- Adhere to project timelines and meet quality standards on every assignment.
- Drive to job sites to complete installations and coordinate effectively with team members.
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and clients to provide updates on project status.
- Uphold safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Prior experience in a similar role or field is highly preferred; willingness to train the right candidate in ZAM Communications' methods.
- Proven experience with fiber optics, fire alarm systems, and access control systems.
- Experience in building out Intermediate Distribution Frames (IDFs).
- Technical Skills: Ability to install and troubleshoot low-voltage systems (Cat6, fiber, etc.) with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Tools: Must provide personal handheld tools, including drills and testers.
- Driving: Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive to job sites.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to independently manage and fulfill requests with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable and capable of working independently to meet project requirements.
- Skilled in installing racks, cabinets, and related infrastructure.

Work Schedule:
- Full-time, with overtime potential

- Office based in Tegner, CA. With various job sites with the requirement to drive
