About the Job
This Lifecycle Business Product Owner will require deep, practical and hands-on understanding of the automotive business and automotive product & technology with an eye to future advances that can be incorporated into client's vehicle offerings to add value over the entire vehicle lifecycle. This role will evaluate business viability and profitability and create a vision and roadmap to address customer and product needs based on technologies and solutions. This senior role will lead the validation of business development themes or hypotheses to achieve the desired outcomes and recommend next steps to leadership.
Required Education:
•MBA from accredited university and/or program
Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
•Proven track record of executive/senior leadership roles to drive business success
•Minimum two of following experience:
o10+ years of business program development
o10+ years of automotive or consumer technology planning or development
o10+ years of automotive customer or consumer technology customer facing solutions program management or development
o7+ years of creating and introducing new business programs to market
oAutomotive industry specific knowledge across all product lines
Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
•Executive/senior leadership skills to drive business success
•Strong hands-on technical expertise and track record of successful projects
•Strong industry knowledge of hardware, software and wireless communication technologies and their practical applications
•Ability to think big picture and out of the box
•Strong proficiency with MS office is required, especially PowerPoint and excel
•Strong presenter and confident interacting with all levels of management
•Excellent teamwork skills for both North American and global offices and associates
•Driver’s license required and ability to operate a diverse assortment of automobiles. Proficiency with manual transmission preferred but not required
•Function as a business owner/ product owner/lpl/or person-in-charge of business development project
Product Owner Job Duties:
Lead strategic plan development:
•Identify, create and propose business development themes aligned with mid-term and long-term business strategy for Circular Solutions. This includes but not limited to clearly identifying the unique added-value the client can bring to the market and value chain.
•Successfully obtain approvals of business development themes from executive management meeting fiscal year requirements
•Clarify business development theme strategies to multiple business development teams for simple, actionable implementation plans
Lead strategic plan validation:
•Identify required resources and stakeholders for preparation and execution of proof-of-concept to validate business success.
•Set and pursue measurable plans, targets and KPI to clearly validate the business development themes.
•Utilizing the understanding of business development themes, market environment, and client capabilities, lead the creation of technology implementations to support business success.
Lead strategic plan implementation & Team Management:
•Regularly evaluate progress of all business development themes are consistently progressing towards identified goals and strategy.
•Direct, mentor, motive and advise project themes for critical thinking for implementation success.
Executive and Stakeholder Reporting:
•Reports status of business development themes and leads project evaluations to stakeholders including technology roadmaps, lessons learned and hypothesis updates.
•Analyzes trends, understands applicability and impact to client, summarizes and presents key learnings, and recommends next steps.

•10% non-project related business activities as assigned
