We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join a team in Reston, VA. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, combining the flexibility of remote work with the benefits of in-office collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital transformation and technology projects, with a proven track record of driving process improvements and leading project initiatives.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Data-Driven Problem Solving: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address high-impact business challenges using data and structured problem-solving techniques.
• Develop and Present Strategic Recommendations: Formulate hypotheses, test solutions, and make actionable recommendations to drive strategic outcomes.
• Collaborate Across Departments: Partner with department heads and team leaders to ensure solutions align with business strategy.
• Own the Requirements-Gathering Process: Conduct in-depth requirements analysis and documentation for critical projects.
• Ensure High Analysis and Reporting Standards: Synthesize information and present complex findings to senior leadership.
• Independent and Collaborative Workstreams: Manage individual workstreams while integrating with team efforts on end-to-end projects.
• Testing, Validation, and Solution Implementation: Develop test cases, facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure successful outcomes.
• Performance Reporting and Ongoing Improvement: Track project metrics and develop insights for continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: 7+ years of business analysis experience in a large enterprise environment.
• Skills:
  • Quantitative analysis and problem-solving
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication
  • Project and change management
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., UML, BPMN, Agile/Scrum)
  • Advanced data analysis skills (knowledge of SQL or data visualization tools preferred)

Work Environment

• Hybrid Schedule: 3 mandatory in-office days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 2 virtual days.
